SplinterGlossary: Boss Fights
Boss fights are present in different types of games, usually in combination with another game genre like MMORPG.
A boss is a very powerful opponent controlled by the game (PvE mode), that requires a combination of skill, the right equipment or level, and sometimes coordination to kill.
Bosses can be present in single-player modes, but also in multi-player modes, in which case coordination plays a crucial role.
