Happy Women's Day to all ladies of hive. What's going on there? Is there something made your day? Does anyone make you feel special just because you are a woman? Well, sometimes I felt special because I'm a woman and sometimes I was neglected because I'm a woman so I've both experience that I'm going to share in this Women's day special blog in ladies of hive community.
I think I'm allowed to share my words because Ladies of hive is a community for we ladies. So let me share everything without any hesitation and regret. Let me confess something honestly and that is about being a lady. Honestly I was really very upset in my childhood for being a girl because I always treated like I'm weak and I don't deserves things that a boy get.
For example, my parents decided to buy a bicycle for their son but I told them that I need to ride a bicycle but they didn’t allow me riding bicycle because they believe that I'm weak and girls are always weak and they forcefully made me believe that we women are weak. Could be sounds funny for you but it was not funny, it was a suffering.
I really can't blame my parents for having a lots of superstations and misconception because they were following as they taught by their great great grandparents and they holding these conception for years like tradition. The most difficult thing for a woman is adjusting in a conservative family where your opinion never going to be heard and accepted. With the time things can change but it takes a lots of time.
Later when time goes and I was neglected as a girl, I feel like having a cursed life and I wish to be a boy. I thought about ways that can help me changing my gender (silly thoughts). When I get my first period I felt like I had another curse in my life as a girl. As time goes, my perspective change, I become mature and start finding the positive side of being a woman.
I got respect as woman when some shows concern, care, love and affection. My birthday was celebrated in grand way by my parents and they made me feel like a princess so here I have no regret being a woman or girl. When I ride on bus or train, many times gentlemen left their seat for me because I'm a girl and I can't travel all the road inside a vehicle. I met many gentlemen who knows respecting women so they often made me feel special too. Gradually I used to with my period and start feeling like being woman is not that bad actually.
Finally now I believe that being woman is a blessing specially when you are someone special someone you love. You are the priority of someone you want in your life. There are many society cuts the wing of women but a woman can do everything if they have enough freedom and confident. In this women's day, I wish all women a beautiful life that they enjoy as woman. Accept the decision of nature and you can feel the awesomeness of being a woman.
