Yeah it's another UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NIGHT. This time it’s the most successful team in the history of the European cup/Uefa champions league Real Madrid against this season the bookmakers’ favourite Manchester city. The tie has previously served us a 7 goal thriller with Manchester city edging the La Liga champion 4-3.
Real Madrid has always been lauded as a mentality monster club and surely that resilience has gotten them through to this season's UCL semi-finals. Both against PSG and Chelsea the team has at each time gone behind and all seems to be over for them only to still find their feet and manage to forge their way through. That is how resolute and unpredictable this Real Madrid side has been.
Manchester City on the other hand is a team that likes doing everything well. They have a well-drilled style of play, they pass the ball well and they like having the possession and controlling the tempo of the match. Unlike Real Madrid, Manchester City has had a rather smoother journey to the semifinals than Real Madrid who had faced the tougher teams to qualify.
Real Madrid already won two trophies this season (La Liga and Supercopa de Espana), and Manchester City is leading the Premier League table with a point over Liverpool who already qualified for the Uefa champions league finals.
So what are the chances?
Both the teams have experienced coaches but will Carlo Ancelloti edge Pep Guardiola's team with a substitute as he has done in Real Madrid's last two knockout matches? Or will Pep Guardiola make it to two consecutive UCL finals with this Manchester City side? The answer is 90 mins but it will surely be a tie to not miss.
