Extra-terrestrial is not the only answer, intra-terrestrial and non-terrestrial beings exist also. If we allow microbes to have capacity for intelligence, then they could certainly create telepathic communications, even though we choose not recognize or value smaller physical dimensions.

Each fractal has its own zero point that exists in common with all zero points, as one individual and one 'species' as a whole. The universal one is embedded in the scale that it is expressed, and can serve as either the upper boundary limit or the lower boundary limit.

Since this is a quantum phenomena, expression at every scale becomes the smallest packet of energy on that scale. The direction of the vector need not be restricted to right or left, up or down, or any other dual construct.

One human being is the smallest functional unit on human scale. We can be part of a greater system, or we can be a whole system unto ourselves, depending upon perspective. If intelligence exist on all fractal scales, then it is bordered by a reality imposed by the adjacent scales within the continuum.

Beings of human are varible in size, shape and form. We travel 'time' on whatever scale is applicable to the current residential earth. There are many earths in many universes on all scales of size. All humans on earth are not active - some are passive and under control of the intelligence of the morphogenic human field. The response is the mean expectation of the sum of the individuals, as expressed as 'reality'. Reality changes are dependant upon perspective.

On feline scale, cats express 'human' perspective of intelligence, with the cat as the central character. Humans and cats live in the same fractal reality, but the size and scale differences on earth allow different perceptions of time frame and space (spacial dimensions).

A cat with a limited travel range knows the borders of her own territory, and perceives major differences in other different human enforced environments. The feline objective reality does not include cat created constructs. Ownership is conditional - as long as the cat and the human share a common friendship.

The humans provide the food, shelter, litterbox and other accommodations. The felines provide purr therapy, a resonance balancing technique that dampens harsh vibrations, with a total awareness of 'zen'. Let's do a simple thought experiment.

If an eight year old house-cat has an 80 year lifetime, then cat scale is a tenth of human scale. Each cat ages eight years in a single human calendar year. Earth seasons, winter, spring, summer and fall, each give the equivalent of two years of human experience.

That makes Einstein and Tripod (at a year and a half old) effectively teenagers, acting out their reality to extend the borders of known feline experience. As brothers, they play off each other and have a consistant relationship. Each has his own personal relationship with his human, me, and with Izzy the Wonder Dog.

Izzy the Wonder Dog

Tripod has caught the brunt of the dog/cat relationship first hand. His first response as a new kitten to the pit bull was full claws on Izzy's nose, which ended in a good shaking and two days of concussed kitty. Upon rejoining the world, his next action was full claws on Izzy's nose. Thus the name Deathwish was predicessor to the name Tripod.

The new name came from Izzy the wonderdog's revenge. Cat was distracted and dog saw an opportunity and the chomp disclocated his rear hip. Tripod became an indoor cat, and Missy miss, the prior indoor cat decided she had had enough and took off. Cats will do that, they change when things call for change. It took several months of rehap, Tripod regained full functionality of his leg.

Einstein knows better than to get near Izzy the wonderdog. As everyone aged, the cats and dogs have worked out new relationships, perhaps because the human influence thought that they should be copacetic. Whether any of the animals have real trust in their human, or whether we humans are their personal pets, is a question of perspective of ownership.
