Great post! This is the only way forward for anyone with volunteerist ideals. There is no way to "vote the problem away" and revolutions are destined to fail without addressing the root cause.

Great post, I look forward to the rest. For me one of the early frustrations is not necessarily the lack of recognition or revenue but the abundance of people on here who just seem to be gaming the system.

Yeah I've checked out a few of your music posts. I'm sure I'll be seeing more in the future. Just as an aside, there's plenty careers in the music industry that don't involve playing an instrument. Musicians

Don't get me wrong I appreciate his sentiment. I am by no means a statist. The point is, to even get to the position that your could (realistically) be voted in requires a large degree of political weight.

The was a lot of parliamentary work (parliamentary questions and such), but also policy work, research etc. Also liaising with relevant departments. I'm actually in the middle of leaving my current job

From what it looks like Adam has had no direct political experience (ie ever worked in government). I think he may have a hard time achieving anything he is setting out to do (in the realm of government).
