In this case it did you, and all of us, a service. It looks so real and alive somehow. I wish I could touch it, like is it touchable or would that be dangerous for it?

It's so cool that you took such a liking to the things beyond our world. It's not something everyone is into, but for those of us who are... how could we not be? There is so much beauty to observe out there, and so much vastness to explore. Maybe Mars could be a long shot, I don't know, but I would really love to go to the Moon at least, and I think it's at least within the realm of possibility before I'm dead.

I hope that you will write those posts you are teasing about the telescopes, because I would like to see them. A telescope was actually the first thing I ever saved up for and purchased with my own money! It is long gone now, and I never really properly got to use it, because I was still a young child and clueless about anything, and no one else was interested to take the time to figure it out with me. So I have never really seen the Moon, or much of anything, through the telescope, except for photos of course. I would love to borrow yours now and look.

The good old clueless days. Everything seemed purely magical back. The cynic in me was not awake yet.

Not that it was not already awake, but I am sure this year has been like a giant cup of coffee and a cold shower for that inner cynic. It certainly has been for mine. I am sure it will never go completely back to sleep, but maybe when all of this pandemic shit is done we will all be able to give our inner cynics some rest, and allow ourselves to find some of that magic again. I'm certainly going to try. I miss it.
