The blood cell which is also called hemocyte,is a cell produced from hematopoises and found in the blood. The average human being has more than 5litres of blood in his or her body which carries oxygen and nutrients to the living cell and take away their waste products.
Types of Blood cell.
There are 3 main types of blood cell which are as follows
The red blood cell(erythrocyte):This is primarily carries oxygen and collect CO2 through the use of haemoglobin(An iron containing protein that gives red blood cells their colors and transport oxygen from the lungs to the tissue and the lungs.
The White Blood cells (leukocytes) This is known to be cell of immune system,and produce in the bone marrow.they are found throughout the body including the blood lymphatic system.
The blood platelets.This are very small with irregular shape that is derived from fragmentation megakariocytes.if the number of platelets in the body is too small it causes excessive bleeding and it it's too high it forms clots which can result in thrombosis that may obstruct blood vessels and results in stroke.
