Dusk ... lovely summer weather ... the sound of cicadas, birds roosting, children's voices in the distance ... all contributing to lifting me out of the blog doldrums and enabling me to get my fingers flying over the keyboard again. Exhaustion and lack of inspiration have prevented any blogging attempt during the last 10 days.
Having just read a very interesting article about remote viewing and seeng some amazing art in my feed, and having had a single puff of a joint, has also inspired me somewhat. Weed, at the right time, has a fantastic calming effect and enhances appreciation of the awesomeneness of my surroundings.

I'm blessed to live in a spot with lots of huge trees, home to insects, birds, frogs, tree hyrax ... and at the end of the day, with the addition of a single puff, it's soul food. (Any more than one puff is unnecessary and too harsh on my chest.)

At any other time, weed brings on slight paranoia ... especially if I'm away from home, or if it's earlier in the day when things are happening.

When I was young, in my 20s and early 30s, I enjoyed weed. In the last few months, now that I'm frighteningly close to 60, I enjoy an occasional puff at the right time, and drink weed tea as often as my husband can get hold of enough plant. Being an insomniac, it helps me to fall asleep even if just for a couple of hours, and with a spoon of honey, it's great.

Amazing journey, this life, always comes full circle.
