This morning’s breakfast came with a little twist. Instead of boiling eggs the usual way, I decided to save gas by placing them right on top of the rice while it cooked. It worked perfectly; the steam gently boiled them while the rice was finishing.
One egg was set aside for my fur baby, Cardo the Chow Chow, who always waits patiently for his share. The other two were mine, making for a simple yet satisfying start to the day.
Sometimes, it’s the small kitchen hacks that make mornings more fun and sharing them with loved ones (whether human or furry) makes them even better.
