Hello, dear Hivers!

This morning started with a simple plan. Before going to bed last night, I was already thinking about what to prepare for breakfast today. I remembered that I still had four pieces of cheesedog sitting in my refrigerator, and I also had some leftover rice from my dinner the other night.

Instead of cooking a completely new meal, I decided to make use of what was already available in my kitchen. After all, there's something satisfying about making the most of the food we already have at home. When I checked the refrigerator this morning, the cheesedogs were still there waiting to be cooked.

As I was preparing breakfast, I was also thinking ahead about lunch. I didn't feel like cooking another meal later in the day, so I came up with a simple idea. I went to the nearest sari-sari store and bought a can of luncheon meat that I could cook together with the cheesedogs.

With everything ready, I started cooking. Nothing fancy, just a straightforward meal that would hopefully last for both breakfast and lunch. The cheesedogs slowly turned golden brown in the pan, filling the kitchen with that familiar aroma that always makes me hungry. I cooked the luncheon meat as well and added it to the meal. Since there was enough food, I planned to save whatever was left after breakfast for lunch later in the day.

To complete my breakfast, I also prepared a cup of coffee. Unfortunately, I got too hungry and excited to eat that I completely forgot to take a picture of it. Sometimes that happens when you're more focused on enjoying the moment than documenting everything! The leftover rice became fried rice, and together with the cheesedogs, luncheon meat, and my coffee, it turned into a satisfying and filling breakfast.

What I like about mornings like this is that they remind me that good meals don't always have to be expensive or complicated. Sometimes, a few items from the refrigerator, a quick trip to the nearby sari-sari store, and a little bit of planning are enough to prepare meals for almost the entire day. Being practical has become part of my daily routine, especially when it comes to managing food at home. It helps reduce waste, saves money, and makes me appreciate even simple meals even more.

Thank you for stopping by and reading about my simple breakfast-and-lunch preparation today. I hope you're all having a wonderful weekend and enjoying your own favorite meals as well!

Have a blessed day, everyone! 鉂わ笍
