Beating the Bulacan Heat Without Leaving Home: Another Puregold Online Grocery Haul Filled with Essentials, Snacks, and Little Comforts for My Work-from-Home Days
Hello once again, my dear Hive Friends! Since my shift today is a bit earlier than usual, I decided to share a quick life update before I get busy with work. Later during my breaks, I will do what I always enjoy doing here on Hive, which is visiting posts that catch my interest and engaging with fellow Hivers. After all, I have said this many times before, and I truly mean it: the Hive community feels like a real family to me. The support, encouragement, and interactions I receive here are always something I look forward to.
For today's blog, I want to share another one of my Puregold Online grocery purchases. To be honest, this is definitely not my first time posting about my online grocery shopping. It's not my second or third time either. In fact, I can no longer remember how many times I have shared similar posts here on Hive. 馃槀
The reason is quite simple. I really prefer ordering groceries online rather than going out to supermarkets or convenience stores. The weather here in Bulacan has been extremely hot lately, and I'm sure many other places in the Philippines are experiencing the same thing. Just thinking about walking outside under the scorching sun already makes me feel tired.
Because of that, online grocery shopping has become one of my favorite modern conveniences. I can simply browse, add items to my cart, complete the payment, and wait for everything to be delivered right to my doorstep. It saves me time, effort, and most importantly, it helps me avoid the intense heat outside.
This latest grocery order mainly consisted of household essentials that were already running low in my home. I replenished my stocks of detergent powder, detergent bar, bath soaps, and toothpaste. I won't be mentioning the specific brands because they are already visible in the photos I will be sharing with this post. However, I will say that I decided to try a few different brands this time instead of purchasing exactly the same products from my previous grocery haul. I think it's always nice to occasionally try something new, especially if there are ongoing promotions or discounts available.
Of course, besides necessities, I couldn't resist adding a few snacks to my cart as well. 馃槄 I bought some spicy cracker nuts and dried peanuts to keep at my workstation. As someone who spends many hours working in front of a screen, having small snacks nearby can be incredibly helpful, especially during those moments when my energy starts to drop. There are days when I suddenly feel sleepy even though I still have tasks to finish. That's when these crunchy snacks become my little companions. The spicy flavor helps wake me up, while the peanuts give me something to munch on while working. And yes, before anyone asks, I still drink coffee! But let's be honest for a moment. Sometimes even coffee can't save me from sleepiness anymore. 馃槀There are those days when no matter how much coffee I drink, my eyes still want to close, and my bed seems to be calling my name. During those moments, snacking becomes my backup strategy while trying to stay productive and focused.
Overall, I'm happy with this latest Puregold Online grocery haul. All my essential household items have been restocked, and I also have a few treats to enjoy during work hours. It's a simple purchase, but it brings peace of mind knowing that I won't suddenly run out of everyday necessities.
