I have been very slow at posting on this platform because I have started out fresh with no Hive Power and this is my first experience on the HIVE platform. This means every time I try to post or comment I get a notification that I either need to wait until my resource credits increase or I need to buy HIVE power.
So I sold a small amount of blurt on the HIVE engine in the hope of powering up hive. What I got was swap.hiv pegged. There did not seem to be an option in the wallet to power this up to Hiv. So I ended up just buying some POB and powering that up. While that let me have some very small votes it still did not solve the problem of the resource credits.
So now I have waited for my first post to cash out at 7 days and this has happened and it still does not provide any solution.
To me it looks like the only solution is to use ETH to buy Hive Power. But this is not a solution for me as the steps to getting ETH are not an option for me right now.
Is there something I am missing about selling on the HIVE Engine and getting HIV and powering up? Is there a post or explanation somewhere?
