Greetings and blessings to everyone in this community of @weekend-experience, I had some time without passing by here to tell you about my weekends, although I have been reading your posts in your entries in the weekends initiative, worth the redundancy heh, heh, heh.
Today I tell you about what we did this past Saturday, in which once again, as it has happened to me on other occasions, due to lack of planning or rather lack of money, I left the shopping for my daughter Arianna's school supplies for the last minute.
Since classes would start on Monday, that is, yesterday, and I still had several things to buy. So, in the morning, my husband dropped us off at the center, so we could visit the stores, check prices and shop.
I usually check that center from top to bottom and this one spans two very long streets. Walking them with Ambar loaded is something that tires me a lot, so I wanted to walk as little as possible, in the second shoe store we entered we saw some shoes and school pants at a good price and of good quality.
We did not hesitate and asked for both to be measured, the pants, was wide, different from what she wore, it seemed like a gentleman, it looked great; however, when she measured it was perfect, it is wide, fits the body and is cool, she does not like clothes so tight.
When she went to measure the shoes, what surprised us, they brought her a size 36, according to them they were big, they did not fit her, neither the 37, nor the 38, these last ones were just right. I like to buy them loose, so that they last, so we got her a size 39. She already has a woman's foot and she is only 9 years old. Maybe because she spends her time barefoot at home, heh, heh, heh, heh. She was delighted with the purchase.
Then we continued walking, looking at stores of what we needed to buy and other things, for example there were some very nice clothes, which I would like to buy for my girls for Christmas.
We had not walked very far, when they saw a sale of ice cream and they craved it, I bought it for them and as they were walking, Ambar was throwing it all away. This part of the ice cream can not miss every time we go out, sometimes I pass by the other side, so that they do not see it, for this very reason, that gets dirty clothes, but still they ask for it loudly, ice cream, ice cream ....
Anyway, we continued our walk, seeing that the shirts varied in price and when we entered a store that was cheaper and looked good, there we did not stay, it turns out that there was a long queue to pay, we did it and when we got to the cashier, my debit card did not want to pass, it has some problem in the chip, it has already happened to me several times, the good thing that I had been buying with the service of Bío Pago, which is with the fingerprint, but in that store there was not. So I made my queue in vain, we could not buy.
We went to a store to buy underwear, we entered because they provided the mobile payment service, after we spent a while choosing what we would buy, a problem arose with some customers who wanted to be served quickly by the mobile payment, they and the manager said a few words to each other, the latter decided not to offer the service anymore. Once again we were left without buying.
We continued our way, looking for places where they offered the service of Bío Pago and we could buy what was missing, we were buying some things, like pencil, silicone, pencil sharpeners and so on, when we queued to pay the Bío Pago was down, NO WAY, I was already stressed and regretting for leaving everything to the last minute. We could not buy either.
I called my husband who was shopping in the market to come and lend me his card so we could continue shopping, besides it was getting late, we were tired. So when he arrived we went to all the places where we had not been able to shop and we finally succeeded.
The good thing was that we had time to buy everything he needed to go to school, because it started to rain and when we got into the car the downpour began, when we got to the apartment, as God would have it, a lot of water fell, and as soon as we got to our home we could see everything white in the distance because of all the water falling from the sky. We were saved from getting wet.
Arianna was happy, because she would be bringing all her new things to start her first day of school, she put what we bought in the furniture and then spent the rest of the weekend organizing her things, the ones she already had and the new ones.
As an anecdote regarding her school supplies, years ago, when Arianna was about 2 years old, her dad and I each bought a set of school supplies, mine I gave to my older daughter and the one he bought now is the one that Arianna will use. So we saved quite a bit on that part.
I hope to learn from all this and try not to leave these purchases to the last minute, what I can tell you is that I was not the only one, the center was full and most were buying school supplies and uniforms. So this weekend, a large percentage of the Venezuelan population was in this.
I hope you enjoyed your weekend doing something nice and useful. Thank you for reading, God bless you.
