I have an old Dell, it worked the last time i used it, about 5 years ago. Then it was put in storage. I got it out hoping to use it again but it ejects the disk drive when I turn it on, & it doesn't seem to have any visual output. However, I hooked it up to a projector instead of it's original CRT screen. The projector worked for my boyfriend's computer, but not mine.
I want to understand this machine. I think it's a good philosophy to be an expert in the things you own. I want to use my xp Dell again, what can I do to fix it?
