Have you ever sat down to write something and just… nothing comes out? Like you know what you want to say, but the words are just not forming at all? Yeah, that’s writer’s block.

I’ve experienced it more times than I can count. And honestly, it’s not even funny most times, it’s just me staring at a blank screen, typing a few words, deleting them, and repeating the same thing over and over again, I know the word but I can't form it. It gets frustrating, especially when I actually want to write but my mind feels empty.

For me, it usually happens when I’m overthinking things. Like I start worrying if what I’m writing is good enough or if people will even like it. Sometimes it’s just stress or tiredness too. And the more I try to force it, the worse it gets.

One thing I used to do is stepping away from the screen and it's always helps a lot. I’ll just leave my phone, do something else, maybe listen to music or watch a movie. Most times when I come back, I feel a bit more relaxed and ideas start coming back slowly.

I also try something like free writing, just typing anything that comes to mind without caring if it makes sense. It might look messy at first, but it helps me get past that “stuck” feeling. Once I have something on the page, it’s easier to build from there.

Reading other people’s work also helps me sometimes. It kind of sparks ideas without me even realizing it. Or talking to someone about what I want to write, it can suddenly make things clearer.

But I think the biggest thing I’ve learned is not to pressure myself too much. Everything doesn’t have to be perfect on the first try. Sometimes you just have to write badly first before it becomes good. Writer’s block still happens, but I don’t panic about it anymore. I just take a break, relax, and trust that the words will come back eventually.

Thanks for checking on my blog and have a wonderful day
