I've noticed something about life, you don't always discover people's true intentions when everything is going well. Sometimes, it takes a difficult season to make you see people differently.

There are moments when you suddenly realize that the people you thought would always be around are no longer there. Not because you had a fight with them or because you told them to leave, but simply because life got a little harder.

When everything is fine, it's easy to have people around you. Everyone is laughing, talking, making plans and enjoying the good moments with you. But when things suddenly change and you are the one going through a difficult season, you start noticing certain things.

Some people stop calling, some stop checking on you, most people you thought would be there suddenly become strangers. And honestly, it can hurt.

There were times when I wondered why someone I had been there for would not even check to see if I was okay. At first, I took it personally. I kept thinking about what I might have done wrong or why things had changed.

But with time, I started looking at it differently. Sometimes people leaving your life is not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes it means that the difficult situations simply reveal what was already there.

When you have money, opportunities, connections, or something people need, you may have plenty of friends. But when you are struggling and you have nothing to offer, you get to see who genuinely cares about you.

And real friendship isn't always about someone giving you money or fixing your problems. Sometimes it's just that simple message saying, "How are you doing?"

Maybe it is someone calling you when they know you are having a hard time. Sometimes it is sitting with you, listening to you complain about life, even when they don't have an answer.

Those little things can mean so much when you are going through something. I've also learned that you shouldn't force people to stay in your life. If someone wants to walk away, let them.

It may hurt, especially when you have memories together, but constantly trying to hold on to someone who has already let go will only drain you. Seriously, life has a funny way of changing your circle.

Some people leave because they were only meant to be part of one chapter. Others stay through the uncomfortable moments, and those are the people you learn to appreciate differently.

So, if you are currently going through a tough time and you are noticing that your circle is getting smaller, don't be too quick to feel bad about it.

Maybe your circle isn't getting smaller for no reason. Maybe you are simply seeing it more clearly now.

And honestly, I would rather have one or two genuine people beside me than twenty people who only show up when everything is going well.

Difficult seasons are painful, but they teach you things comfort never could. It shows you who cares, it shows you who doesn't and most importantly, it teach you to appreciate the people who stayed when they had every reason to walk away.

Thank for checking on my post and have a wonderful day
