Who wouldn't want to be in Aruba - Dutch Caribbean Island?
I googled Aruba and came up with this information:
In 1986 Aruba pulled out of the Netherlands Antilles - a federation of Dutch Caribbean territories - and obtained separate status within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The Dutch government controls defence and foreign affairs while the island's government handles local matters.11 Sept 2023
My sister and I are in Aruba for a short holiday. Yesterday we went on a jeep tour of the island. We were told that it only takes 40 minutes from the one end to the other. It was a full day tour and ended with a swim - and we noted that the water was actually too warm but this could be because they're having a heat waive with very high temperatures at present.
Last night we were blessed with some amazing sunsets:
It's really a beautiful island and today I discovered Divi Beach Wow, what a beautiful beach.
I caught the bus to get there and on the way came across these iguana's

And they aren't shy to walk on the beach as well.
Tonight we'll be enjoying a 4 course dinner from a place where we have to get to by speedboat - so really looking forward to this experience. We're meeting at a bar called Lucy's for a welcome drink and then off to a new adventure.
Until next time ...
