Coffee from the skies
On my last day in South Africa, Kiara and I had coffee with my dad. We all had cappuccino's.

The cappuccino came with a delicious shortbread biscuit... YUM!
Cappuccino and a delicious homemade biscuit
I flew with Qatar Airways on my flight back to Cyprus and the food was amazing! For the starter I had a cabbage and corn couscous salad, the main was a beef potjie which is a type of South African stew which came with mashed potato, a delicious small loaf of artisan bread, and to finish off... a delicious peppermint crisp tart! For those of you who don't know, a peppermint crisp tart is a traditional South African dessert, which if you have never tried one before, look up the recipe and do yourself a favour and make one... thank me later ;)
Excellent food served on the flight
I watched 2 new movies on my first flight, the 1st one was called Infinite and starred Mark Wahlberg and the 2nd one was called Silk Road which is about the infamous Darknet marketplace that Ross Ulbricht created to sell drugs to people using Bitcoin. It was excellent and so interesting and is a must-watch for everyone in this community as we are all blockchain enthusiasts here.
I landed in Doha to join my connecting flight to take me to Cyprus and took a photo of a massive teddy bear they have on display in the airport. An interesting fact is that Doha's airport was voted the best airport in the world for 2021.
Voted World's best airport
On my connecting flight to Cyprus I was served for starters a fruit salad, for the main a beef lasagne and chicken sausage with potato wedges and to finish off a custard dessert.
Coffee was delicious
To wash down the food I enjoyed a nice cup of coffee whilst looking out of my window staring down onto the Middle East landscape. My coffee in the skies was very much enjoyed and relaxing.
Looked like snow on the mountains
All in all, a very pleasurable experience
Until next time ...
