My mom and sister were out shopping for secret Santa gifts for their bible studies group and afterwards came to pick me up from gym.
The weather today was very overcast and rainy, so I decided to take them for a cup of coffee.
We came to a coffee chain cafe called Cafe Nero which I know there are ones in the UK too.
We were delighted to find they had a fire inside going and surprisingly no one was sitting by the couches in front of the fire so we snapped those seats up really quickly.
We all got cappuccinos and my mom got a lemon vanilla sponge cake.
The cappuccinos had Christmas designs on them which was cool and the whole cafe was very festive with Christmas decorations and a nicely decorated Christmas tree.

The fire was really cosy
Was also nice to see people out and about and living normally during these pandemic times
The atmosphere in there was lovely - the fire going, a Christmas Tree and decorations. It was certainly the first time I felt the Christmas spirit - so well done Café Nero
