I saw another bird in my feed and the bright colour caught my eyes, it's a very stunning bird called the Scarlet Ibis found in South America and the Carribean.
Their colour is intense and fiery red but the most interesting thing about them is that they are born grey and slowly change colour as they eat their favourite foods like crabs and shrimps, so the pigment turns their feathers red.
Imagine if human skin worked that way, we would have lots of skin colours lol. They love water and are rarely alone as they live in big groups, they also keep their distance from people but I'd really like to see one in person.
