Hi guys, welcome to our blog!
Every Monday, we post an update on our activities and progress on achieving our mission.
For this week, we wanted to provide some updates on Amalgam, Critique Reward, Blockchain in the Music Industry, Project Ideation, and scheduling a Meetup.
Another version of Scout Stork
The first issue of Amalgam is expected to be ready for public distribution on October 23rd.
The first issue is going to cover 1) bitcoin centralizing agents; 2) Twitter v. Mastodon; 3) stablecoin overview; 4) decred; 5) the rise of electric scooters; and possibly 6) updates on Ledgerback.
If you would like to submit your own article or contribute to one of the above topics, send us an email at [email protected].
The Critique Reward is ongoing! Submit your best critiques of the Newcomer Kit and/or the Blockchain and Music Review article for the chance to win $50.00 WORTH OF ETH!!!
We plan to finish editing both of our articles once the Available for Public Comment (APC) period is over.
Also, what do you think about "Blockchain: Unchaining Musicians from Intermediaries" as the title of the article?
As we mentioned in one of our previous posts, we have three project ideas: 1) community wireless mesh network, 2) decentralized social network, and 3) decentralized autonomous cooperative association.
All three ideas are currently in the ideation phase and we are steadily making progress to advance them to the proposal phase.
Currently, we find the first and third ideas the most promising, simply based on the amount of feedback we have received from others and our members own expertise on the subjects.
We will keep you updated as we make progress on our three ideas.
We are examining if we can schedule a meetup in the next 2–3 months.
If so, we expect to cover some of the major events and predictions in the past year and discuss our research. Primarily, we expect to cover: 1) our research; 2) stablecoins; 3) institutional investors; 4) mainstream adoption; 5) Ethereum hard fork; and 6) other blockchain use-cases.
Thank you for reading our update.
