IT CHOOSES YOU

Left right left right was the order pronounced,
Under the sun, which could dry an oceanfront.
The sweat of men ready to die fighting,
Wets the dry sand in the training arena

The agony, pain and doubts experienced
On duty is what makes the service tiring,
But it's a little price worth paying
Because good things involves sacrificing.

Event like the birth of their first offspring
While within enemies territory
Is a painful but popular occurrence
Which a man ready to die is facing.

A small price to pay in saving loved ones.
That is a life that can't be given.
