Dear all photolovers, This time I would like to present some photos of the mating of flesh flies. The scientific name for flesh flies is Sarcophagidae. It is a common family of houseflies.
The adults mostly feed on fluids from animal bodies, nectar, sweet foods, fluids from animal waste and other organic substances.

You can find flesh flies in dirty places , feces, and rotten animals. The larvae can cause some diseases to humans and farm animals.
Flesh flies are scavengers. Notably, after mating, adult females are larviparous (birthing larvae rather than place eggs).

In my photos, the mating process took place on leaves in a grassy area. I was interested in their activities. I was lucky because they did not move far when I got close and took some photos. I was able to take a clear picture because the sunlight was very bright.
The most difficult problem when taking macrophotography is focus. When I had focused on the flesh flies, the insects moved suddenly.
