Going through my photos i just found some lovely shots from my skiing trip last winter to mount Hochficht in the north of Upper Austria, Europe.
The picture above shows the view to the south across the vast danube valley and towards the Austrian Alps.
Fresh overnight snow on mighty pine trees
I do prefer the warm summer months but the beauty of fresh snow glistening in the winter sun has a very unique magic to it.
