Is it a bird? Is it an airplane? No, it's Superman.
Our brain begins to generate information in thousandth of a second in what we think is a state of apparent repose, that is, in normal conditions, but what happens when we start generating adrenaline product of an extreme stimulus, we could think well? act appropriately ?, which decisions would be the most appropriate ?, are we prepared to face a moment of crisis?.
AND WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
Welcome to this blog of vital information, companions and friends of this my beloved Steemit community, it is about THE ACCIDENTS, you are prepared to face them? Are you prepared to be an accident victim ?, Please read very carefully, of this maybe you can depend your life or that of some other person.
AN ACCIDENT
Is any unwanted event that produces a functional or bodily injury, permanent or temporary, immediate or subsequent or even death, resulting from the violent action of an external force that can be determined or occurred in the normal development of any activity and may also cause material damage.
To go deeper into the subject and to become aware of the factors surrounding accidents and thus know how to minimize the occurrence of it, we must be clear concepts such as danger, risk, injury and damage.
DANGER
It is a property or characteristic of matter, energy, situation, condition, personal attitude or process with potential to cause injury, damage, death, damage to property and the environment and which generates an uncertainty, we think that nothing bad is going to happen.
RISK
It is a measure in terms of the probability of occurrence and the magnitude of the consequences that may result from the materialization of a hazard, here there is certainty that such an event may occur, that is, we are sure that something will happen if we do not take the adequate prevention measures.
INJURY
It refers to all physical or psychological damage, which as a result of an accident causes deterioration of health.
HURT
It refers to the deterioration of property, machinery and property, resulting from an accident.
Once these concepts are understood, it should be noted that there are two immediate key causes of accidents such as:
1.- THE UNSAFE ACTS
Product of the behavior of each individual and that may affect or even affect a group of people, within these insecure acts we could talk about imprudence, ignorance to perform a certain task, perform activities under the effects of alcoholic beverages or drugs, to have an aggressive attitude, to omit the laws, to present some mental illness, among others.
2.- UNSAFE CONDITIONS,
Refers to our environment and the dangers that this presents us and that in most cases, we are not prepared to detect them in time, either due to lack of knowledge or due lack of attention .
In this are given conditions such as spilled liquids, accumulation of materials and waste, lack of safety signs, exposure of electrical wiring, escape or accumulation of flammable gases, among others.
And never forget it,
More prevention, less accidents ...
Let's make a difference
