I've never been to Granville but it looks nice in your photos. That's a lot of boats in the harbor!

The seawater swimming pool is neat. I've never seen anything like that. Very cool.

I like the car for convenience to go distances but if there is a bike path then that is a very enjoyable way to travel. The Netherlands is great for that.

Donville looks nice as well.
