That's so funny.

I had a similar view on the subject before I got my kobo. The e-readers are super handy especially when traveling though (like you said).

We read a lot on vacation, especially if we take a cruise. They are great to carry multiple books that would otherwise weigh down your suitcase. I also hate traveling with physical books because they get damaged. If they get even a little wet and you throw them in a backpack the cover practically disintigrates.

We still buy a lot of physical books, often times even when we've already read them on the e-reader. We buy them just for our collection lol.

I think both physical books and ereaders have their advantages. There are ways of getting free ebooks too
