Its hard to say for sure since I read the book after seeing the movie, so i basically just pictured the movie in my head as i was reading.

This actually might be a case where the movie is better though because Anthony Hopkins as Hannibal Lecter was quite phenomenal.

The wide wide sea sounds interesting. I generally like those old ship voyage stories
