I see. Well the series does become very sprawling. The 4th book is one of the best of the series though. It gets into the history and back story of the Aiel, which in terms of lore is phenomenal. The last three books are pretty amazing though too because the story finally all comes together. Robert Jordan had a major problem with editing in my opinion. That series would be unreal if it was edited from 14 books, down to 8-10. Combine books 1-3 into just 2 books, remove book 10 entirely other than the last line (its a completely useless book) and delete all of the repetition and unnecessary world building that we've heard over and over. Maybe one day AI can do that for us lol
