Yes that's true about the timing of when it was written. I liked the concept a lot and the themes throughout but I guess it was more the minimalistic style. There wasn't much depth to it and nothing really happened. I'd like to see this idea done in more detail.

12 books is a lot for me. Last year I only read 11. But I hadn't set a goal last year and I took very long breaks from reading to do house projects. So you read about 12 books a year typically?
