In this case there is also the added nuisance of the administration spending the previous year literally screwing over every one of their trading partners and allies. Now all of those allies are refusing to offer military aid and assistance, basically leaving them to fight on their own. Its like, if you're going start something that you can't finish and get yourself into a mess of a situation that you need help getting out of, maybe don't stab all of your partners in the back right before starting it. Not a lot of foresight there. I feel bad for the people, not so much for the administration lol.
