It seems like there is a thought or idea behind this post but its not actually clear what it is. You are presenting raw data but no thoughts on it other than an ominous statement of it being another piece of the puzzle. Its a bit unclear to me about what the idea behind this is or what puzzle your'e referring to. Sorry, that probably seems like a criticism but its not meant to be. I just don't understand. Can you clarify?

My understanding is that this is a think tank hosted by the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation to be proactive in problem solving how nations could collaborate with one another in the event that a global pandemic should arise. The foundation actively works on these problems on a regular basis for quite some time now (i.e. his malaria and polio initiatives are examples). He has also been saying for years (along with many other people) that the next global catastrophe would most likely be pathological. That's a pretty obvious statement though considering plagues and viruses have occurred regularly in nature and throughout human history. Generally, a catastrophic pandemic tends to happen every 40 years or so. The last one was in 1918 when the flu virus killed between 20-50 million people (more than world war I itself). In a way, we are long long overdue which is what people have been saying for the last 20 years or so.

Personally I'm not surprised that it would be Bill gates to champion being proactive on the matter.
