The octopus was good and cooked well. It wasn't rubbery or anything. I don't know if I would cook it at home myself but I did like it. Do you cook it often?

I cook the same stuff continuously as well and generally nothing fancy. I get so bored of it. If you are from a catering family you probably do know how to use the clever, so it probably would be a good

I don't know if I would call myself a chef at this point. A cook maybe lol. I try, but my food often remains bland lol

Austin sounds like a cool city from what I've heard. If i was going to travel to Texas that would be where I'd go I think. Gas is expensive but I'm sure that the vacation was worth it. I could buy a lot

Oh well that is definitely epic lol. Thats a massive series. That might be 3 to 4 epics. Reading the entire series in one year is impressive. It took me 3 years I think and I listened to the last 3 books

I didn't revisit any of the DNF'd books, no. I might go back to I am Legend at some point.

I see. Maybe I'll look into it for next year. I would like to read one large "Epic" book each year, which I'm defining as anything 800-1000 pages (or more) or a series of at least 3 books. War

The Count of Monte Cristo is a massive book isn't it? Its a classic. Sometimes those are challenging to read.

RE: Japanese Knife
Yeah I think thats true. I'm sure there are touristy shops that sell them, essentially as souveniers. Thats an interesting idea to turn the knife into another smaller one. Thats beyond my capabilities
