I am a teacher as well. However, I am not a friend. To my students, I am a person who cares, will listen to them when they have a problem or question, am there to support them and care for them, give them advice, and to let them know that someone cares. I love all of my students and my students love me back. I think that that is very important. But, I am not their friend. Friends are their peers and classmates, etc.
