And here we are again. The weekly contest. If I said last week that I was confident that we had reached a turning point, this week is a little different. We are far from out of danger, and a larger drop for Bitcoin is more likely to be expected. I wish I could be more positive, but unfortunately I can't ... Looking at the recent developments, the FUD is far from over and China mainly continues to throw more oil on the already weak Bitcoin fire. What can we do? Stay strong and be aware of the risks… because once we go through that 30K mark… it might go down really hard. And right now things aren't looking good for Bitcoin, and crypto in general.
Anyway, that's on the negative side of the coin. If we look at the longer term, you can see it differently. Bitcoin is still higher than January 1 this year. Then 1 Bitcoin was 29,000 with which Bitcoin was able to set a new All-Time-High.
And I use this perspective more often for myself, because it lets me get my feet back on the floor for a while. AND it shows me how spoiled we are all by the crypto prices of the past half year!
I've often heard people say that Bitcoin had risen way too fast, that there was a lot of imbalance in the rise, and that people had not been able to get in on time. Not all liquidity was bought up at these prices and now is a great opportunity for that. We will have to wait and see how it goes, how long we have to look at these down and side trends.
For now, I can at least say that I can make someone happy with the self-chosen price from one of the chests. And to know who I'm going to make happy, we'll start with the price of Orchid (OXT) last Friday. And that was still 0.3128 USD back then.
