Last year I made a short interview ith Greta for the progressive @opulens magazine. My views regarding climate change and right-wing politics is that since climate change is a global problem and demands global solutions and storytelling it is hard for many right-wing orientated individuals to accept it. Especially individuals who are right-wing collectivists and authoritarians.

Greta is often seen as a symbol of climate activism that also included left-wing slogans and communication such as "end capitalism" which also is a political allergy for many right-wingers and conservatives. Even in Sweden, most people who are against Greta or negative towards her are right-wing orientated. And I have seen such statements and even conspiracy theories about "Greta is a PR-trick, slave by her parents" in Sweden as well. It is sad to see adults making such childish statements and behaviours.
