I wanted to partake in the color challenge to day but didn't really have a way to capture anything indigo.
As anyone reading my blog knows I am pretty disabled so I decided to make the color challenge also an art challenge! That way I could capture something indigo. I also decided on a tarantula even though I am terrified of them. I also find them fascinating and beautiful. So, I challenged my fears to create this drawing. I am not exactly in love with it. I wish I had a white gel pen for details. Perhaps the fact that I am staring at a spider and terrified also made me draw faster than I normally would. But here it is:
