Slipper design inspired by bees (ENG/ESP)

Greetings with all my love to all my dear friends in this beautiful community of artisans, mothers, fathers, children, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and all the rest of the creative hive that is always creating ingenious ideas. I hope everyone is well. Today I'm joining the initiative for the bee-inspired contest, with the design of some bee-inspired slippers.

We know that we live in a world full of natural potential, and that sadly, there are also a large number of animals on the verge of extinction due to the use and abuse of their resources. Therefore, we can raise awareness every day to ensure the conservation of these wonders. There is an animal that, in addition to being very strong, is the creator of sweetness, the healthiest sweet we can know. This animal is called the bee, a magical and beautiful animal that comes to pamper us with its nectar, since with this nectar we can transform endless products for consumption, as well as for beautifying and caring for the skin, both internally and externally.

This is a topic for inspiration, and I love it. I hope you enjoy today's post.

Saludos con todo mi cariño, para todos mis queridos amigos de esta linda comunidad de artesanos, madres, padres, hijos abuelos, tíos y todo el resto de la colmena creativa que siempre está creando con ideas ingeniosas, espero que todos se encuentren bien, hoy me sumo a la iniciativa para el concurso inspirado en las abejas, con el diseño de unas pantuflas inspiradas en las abejas.

Sabemos que vivimos en un mundo cargado de muchas potencialidades naturales, y que tristemente también hay un gran número de animales a punto de extinguirse, por el uso y abuso de sus recursos, así que se puede concientizar cada día más, para velar por la conservación de estas maravillas, hay un animal que además de ser muy fuerte es creador de la dulzura, el dulce más saludable que podemos conocer, este animal se llama abeja, un mágico y bello animal que llega para consentirnos con su néctar, ya que con este néctar podemos transformar un sin fin de productos tanto para consumo, como para embellecer y cuidado de la piel, interno y externo.

Este es un tema para inspirarse y me encanta, espero les guste mi participación de hoy.

On a piece of sponge, place the flip-flops with the size corresponding to the foot, draw that figure on the sponge with a pencil, cut it out with scissors and in this way you will make 6 shapes in three different materials: 1 pair in sponge for the inner part, 1 pair in PVC fabric for the outer sole, and 1 pair in black synthetic fabric for the lining.

Sobre un trozo de esponja coloca las chancletas del número al referente del pie, dibuja esa figura sobre la esponja con un lápiz, recorta con la tijera y de este modo vas a realizar 6 formas en tres diferentes materiales, 1 par en esponja para la parte interna, 1 par en tela PVC, par la suela externa, 1 par, en tela sintética negra para forro.

Next, place the black fabric lining, or your preferred fabric, over the sponge and secure it with hemstitches using a needle and hand-stitched thread. This is also the PVC fabric underneath for the outer sole.
Sew it with a sewing machine, or you can also sew it by hand.

Después vas a Colocar el forro de tela negra o de tu preferencia, sobre la esponja y vas a fijar con puntos de basta con aguja e hilo cosido a mano, junto a la tela de PVC que es la que queda debajo para la suela externa.
Cose con la ayuda de una máquina de coser o también la puedes coser a mano.

Once you have the soles for the slippers ready, we will measure the volume part of the foot, to make the top part of the slipper, here you use the tape measure and measure leaving 2 cm on each side to sew, in image 2 on the top right side you can see the measurement I made, this is for a size 38, reduced to size 37 by the seams, the material I used was foam, but for a better result you can use felt.

Una vez tengas listas las suelas para las pantuflas, mediremos la parte del volumen del pie, para hacer la parte de arriba de la pantufla, aquí usas la cinta métrica y mide dejando 2 cm de cada lado para coser, en la imagen 2 de lado derecho superior pueden notar la medida que hice esto es como para un número 38 quedando reducido a número 37 por las costuras, el material que utilice fue foami, pero para un mejor resultado pueden utilizar fieltro.

Next, measure with the tape and cut several strips of black and yellow fabric, 4 cm wide, to make the outer lining that will cover the slipper.

Pin and sew, then glue over the slipper piece, pin again, and at this point, you'll also attach the inner lining to the foot piece and sew, then cut off the excess fabric.

With this foot piece ready, sew it onto the sole, placing the foot piece right side up and wrong side up, and sew 2 cm along the edge, then turn it over.

Seguido mide con la cinta, y corta varias cintas de tela de color negro y amarillo, de 4 cm, de ancho, para hacer el forro externo que va a cubrir la pantufla.

Fija con alfileres y cose, después pega sobre la pieza de la pantufla, vuelve a fijar con alfileres, y en este momento, también vas a colocar la parte del forro interno de la pieza de la calza, pie, y coses, luego corta el excedente de tela.

Con esta pieza de la calza pie lista, vas a coserla sobre la suela colocando la pieza del revés con derecho de la calza pie, y coses 2 cm por la orilla, luego voltea.

When you have finished sewing the entire slipper, all that's left is to decorate it with wings. Here, use a white cotton fabric or any other white fabric. Draw the shape of the bee, cut out the shape, place it on the rest of the sponge, take out the shapes to fill them and give them volume and stability, then sew the wings, fill them, decorate them with ribbon and beads, sew the wings to the sides of each slipper. The result is beautiful and brings many smiles when you wear them.

Cuando hayas terminado de coser toda la pantufla, solo queda decorar con alas, aquí usa una tela de color blanco de algodón o cualquier otra tela blanca, dibuja la forma de las de abeja, corta la forma, coloca sobre el resto de esponja, saca las formas para rellenar y darle volumen y estabilidad a las alas, después coses las alas, rellena decora con la cinta y los abalorios, cose las alas a los lados de cada pantufla, el resultado es hermoso y saca muchas sonrisas cuando las usas.

Then, sew the wings, stuff them, decorate with ribbon and beads, and sew the wings to the sides of each slipper.
The result is beautiful; it brings so many smiles when you wear it. The kids love it. I hope you enjoyed it.

Después coses las alas, rellena, decora con la cinta y los abalorios, cose las alas a los lados de cada pantufla.
El resultado es hermoso, saca muchas sonrisas cuando las usas a los niños les encanta, espero que les haya gustado.
