Receive a cordial greeting and welcome friends!, to one more of my drawing publications with school colors.

Today I present to you a drawing that I have made of a zebra, this drawing caught my attention to work on it because the effect that there is in the river is what makes this drawing very striking, so this time today's challenge will be to make this river and the effect of water on it.

I was very inspired to make this drawing because zebras are very beautiful and mysterious animals.

Are zebras black with white stripes or white with black stripes?

It is a difficult question to understand, so if you know what the answer is, you can leave it in the comment box at the end of this publication.

The photos you will see below were taken with my Alcatel_5044R model phone.

Next, I will present the elaboration process that I implemented to make this drawing.

Paso 1

Step 1

START OF DRAWING

I made the zebra starting with the figure, then I made the ears and the eyes, then I made the mouth and the nose, this part is very simple, so we require no drawing technique to be able to work on the head of this beautiful animal.

After finishing with the head of this animal, we began to make the moles of this zebra, so I began to create lines that will help us later to separate the white color from the black color, the process seemed very interesting to me, because all the lines that separate these colors do not have to be exactly the same as the previous one, they all have different shapes depending on the direction in which they are directed, all these separation lines are curved, none is straight, this is because the depths of the body of the zebra can go in any direction, although this is also due to the position that the beautiful animal is in.

PASO 2

STEP 2

SHAPE OF BACKGROUND

Then I marked the lines of the lake horizontally where the zebra is drinking water, each horizontal line that represents the lake should be curved, since this animal is drinking water from the river and creating small slings on the river.

ZEBRA COLOR

Once the drawing was ready, I started to color the zebra's stripes or spots with black, leaving blank spaces.

PASO 3

STEP 3

THE HAIR

After finishing coloring the stripes where the moles of the zebra are, I started to make the hair and colored it with the dark brown color, also with the dark brown color, I colored part of the horse's mouth, I mention horse because this is the relative to the horse, they look a lot alike, except that zebras are a bit smaller than them.

Then I continued with the cream color for the white stripes, if we want we can leave them that way, but if we add the cream color it would add more volume so that the black stripes stand out and stand out more in this drawing.

In this way I finished the coloring of the zebra, highlighting all the edges with white.

FIRST LAYERS OF COLOR FOR THE RIVER

For the river I began to highlight the previously added horizontal lines with the dark blue color, then I gave the first layer of color to the river.

PASO 4

STEP 4

SECOND LAYER LIGHT BLUE COLOR

As we finished adding the first background layer on the river, we started using light blue to make the water movement effect, caused by the zebra drinking water.

Each one of the waves caused by the zebra we will add the light blue under the ones that we had previously added with the dark blue.

Later I began to add a last layer to the river with the dark blue color, here we can already settle our crayon, but we must be careful not to remove the light blue parts that we had previously added.

PASO 5

STEP 5

THE EFFECT THAT WILL HIGHLIGHT THIS DRAWING MORE

To conclude this drawing we can appreciate that you fill all the parts of the river with the dark blue color, so to make the movement effect of the waves more striking, use the cream color to lighten all the parts that we had previously added with the blue color Of course, the part of the zebra's mouth is where it begins to produce the movement, so circular waves had to be created to symbolize that it is the zebra that is producing the movement of the waves.

PASO 6

DATO EXTRA
