Amigurumi easter bunny design (ENG/ESP)

Hello dear friends, happy needlework Monday, I am very happy to be here again, on this water Monday, to share with you my work of the day, it is an Easter bunny, I knitted with amigurumi technique, it is a design that I made inspired by combining ideas I saw on pinterest, so with all the imagination and creativity, I created my bunny, my way without following any specific pattern, number of stitches, what I did was to count and measure the pieces together, count the lines to carry the sequence, to give it neatness and I think I did very well.

Easter is coming, and with it many are the ideas with the Easter bunnies, and their traditional decorated eggs.

On the other hand, I tell you that I continue with my strange way of knitting, as my sister tells me, is that I do not get used to count the stitches, I know it is important, but I have always said so, I feel so comfortable knitting without thinking about having to write down, count and be so attentive, that if I do, I get out of my comfort zone knitting, in this I lose concentration and inspiration, I think it may be part of the process of adaptation, to motivate me every day more and more in this beautiful art.

I had some time without making amigurumis, so I decided to make another gift for my daughter, I know she loves amigurumis, as I do, and she gives a lot of value to this kind of gifts, she takes care of them and loves to decorate her bags with them.

Hola queridos amigos, feliz lunes de trabajo con agujas, me alegra mucho poder estar aquí nuevamente, en este lunes de aguas, para compartir con ustedes mi trabajo del día, se trata de un conejo de Pascua, que tejí con la técnica de amigurumi, es un diseño que hice inspirada combinando ideas que vi por pinterest, de otros diseños, así que con toda la imaginación y creatividad, cree mi conejito, a mi manera sin seguir algún patrón específico, de número de puntos, lo que hice fue contar, y medir las piezas entre sí, contar las líneas para llevar la secuencia, para darle prolijidad y creo que me fue muy bien.

Ya se acerca la Pascua, y con ella muchas son las ideas con los conejillos de Pascua, y sus huevos tradicionales decorados.

Por otra parte, les cuento que sigo con mi forma extraña de tejer, como me dice mi hermana, es que no me acostumbro a contar los puntos, sé que es importante, pero siempre lo he dicho así, me siento tan cómoda tejiendo sin pensar en tener que anotar, contar y estar tan atenta, que si lo hago, me salgo de mi zona de confort tejiendo, en esto pierdo la concentración y la inspiración, creo que puede ser parte del proceso de adaptación, para motivarme cada día más en este bello arte.

Tenía tiempo sin hacer amigurumis, así que me provoco hacerle otro regalo a mi hija, sé que le encantan los amigurumis, como a mí, y le da mucho valor a este tipo de regalos, los cuida mucho y le encanta decorar sus bolsos con ellos.

The design is inspired by Easter eggs, the body is like that of an egg, and I really like the way it looks.

El diseño es inspirado en los huevos de Pascua, el cuerpo es como la de un huevo, y me gusto mucho el aspecto con el que queda.

After I wove this shape I left a hole to fill it with cotton fabric scraps, helping me with a wooden stick, then I continued weaving to close it.

Después que tejí esta forma deje un orificio para rellenarlo con retazos de tela de algodón, ayudándome con un palito de madera, luego continúe tejiendo para cerrar.

Then I made the ears, which are like leaves, starting with a chain of 6 stitches, knitted in horizontal lines; I made increases and also reductions of stitches, in order to make the shape.

For the legs I knitted 4 pieces, starting with rings of 3 and 4 stitches, since I wanted to make the front legs a little longer for what I wanted to achieve later on.

Después hice las orejas que son como unas hojas, comenzando con una cadena de 6 puntos, tejidas en líneas horizontales; hice aumentos y también reducciones de puntos, para poder hacer la forma.

Para las patas tejí 4 piezas, comenzando con anillos de 3 y 4 puntos, ya que quería hacer las patas delanteras un poco más largas para lo que más adelante quería lograr.

The ears are 4 pieces, to make them firmer, I joined 2 pairs of ears and with a wool needle with crochet thread of the same color, I sewed the edges, then I gave a few stitches with crochet thread, at the bottom of the ears, to make them a little more closed.

Las orejas son 4 piezas, para hacerlas más firmes, uni 2 pares de orejas y con una aguja lanera con hilo de crochet del mismo color, cosí las orillas, luego le di unas puntadas con hilo de crochet, en la parte inferior de las orejas, para hacerlas un poco más cerradas.

Completing all the main details and pieces, I sewed to the main piece each one of them, starting first, with the ears, then the paws.

Then, to make this bunny nicer, I made happy eyes and a smiling mouth, embroidered with thin thread.

Completando todos los detalles principales y piezas, cosí a la pieza principal cada una de ellas, comenzando primero, con las orejas, luego las patas.

Después, para hacer este conejo más simpático, le hice unos ojos felices, y una boca sonriente, bordados con hilo delgado.

And thinking that she still needed something to make me fall in love with her, I bordered her a colorful rose, as if carrying flowers to give as a gift.

Y pensando que aún le faltaba algo para que me terminara de enamorar, le borde un rosa de colores, como cargando flores para regalar.
