I think I covered a big part of my life since 2016 on this chain... but I came to think of some details that I might never have shared.
There are also aspects of my life that I might wait with sharing, I am not sure. Basically I want future potential crypto archaeologists to be able to write many books on my story forever, from my original postings.
I am not going to write a book, I let other people do that.
So the first thing I want to talk about today is "The Bunkers"... Thats right I used to have 4 bunkers in central Copenhagen... I forgot the exact years, but it took like more than a year to prepare everything and work with "brandvæsenet" to get those bunkers opened, and I think we opened the doors around 2002 or so, I remember I was in LA in 2001 and I remember in being in the process of getting those bunkers opened around that year.
I am a friend made a one day art exhibition as the first thing, in fact looking back at this, I think that friend used me for this, I gave it all for free and he unfriend me some years later!?!?.. anyway after that those 4 bunkers was rented out as music rehearsal rooms, usually 2 bands in one room and I had a half bunker with drums and a small music studio setup. I would have guitar and vocal lessons with clients there and one girl I was recording music for there.
I made money with renting those out, basically passive income. I had to make new contracts from time to time and there was periods where parts of rooms or whole rooms was empty. It was a business!
The location was spectacular, in "Østre anlæg" behind "Statens museum for kunst" very central in Copenhagen, so most of the times bands was contacting me to get a room.
It was a good period of my life, with money and many friends. I was trying to make my own music and I was in a gospel choir. So much happened those years.
I think I lost them around 2009, unfortunately.
Another story I like to tell is about the failed attempt to make a bitcoin exchange.
I made everything ready around the year 2014, I programmed an exchange where you could buy and sell bitcoin on bitcoindenmark.dk and I applied for a permission, which took around a year to get. I made two companies to run this, one was a operating company and the other was a holding company. Everything was legal and ready and I spend probably more than 1-2 years full time to get everything ready on my own expense and time.
Then the last thing I needed done before opening the doors was, to make two bank accounts for the two companies. Never in my life had it been a problem to open a bank account for a company, which I have done many times prior to this. My bank refused to make accounts for my 2 companies!! There is more details to the story but thats the bottom-line. I went to another bank and that bank wanted to take over all my banking business for them to open the two accounts, that was not possible, because I had loans for my apartment at the time and no job. It was a crazy situation and most people I told this story dont understand it or dont believe it. Nevertheless that is what happened and it made me give up that business after 1-2 years of full time working on it.
It was a shock to me, I was not happy about it and not feeling good at that point in time. Later I realized it was a "blessing in disguise" because it made me much more resilient. My new though was: "If I ever am going to make a company again I dont want any bank involved" and that happened in 2019 many years later when we created LasseCash, with no bank involved. I dont know if that business is a success or not, I guess time will tell. We are trying to migrate to VSC and that might spark interest.
