A man in India has played guitar during his brain surgery.

This is reported by the Times of India. The 32-year-old musician suffered from a rare nervous disease. Each time three fingers of his left hand stiffened when he wanted to play the guitar. The surgeons in Bangalore in the south of the country came up with an unusual idea: they performed the surgery only under local anesthesia and asked the patient to play the guitar during the procedure. So they could make out the brain region, which made the spasm in his fingers. After seven hours the operation had been successful. Since then, the musician can easily move his fingers again.
