Researchers warn of problems with food supply

The brexit could be a hitherto unimagined threat to the supply of food to Great Britain.

Scientists from British universities point out this in a study that reports "The Guardian" and "The Independent". The researchers name a total of 16 urgent problems. They call it a serious failure that the policy has been too little concerned with the issue. If nothing changes, problems with food supply, high prices and a lower quality are programmed. Health problems and damage to the ecosystem may also occur.

They believe that more laws are needed to replace existing European regulations. They also face difficulties in quality standards, fish market quotas, and food import and export regulations.
