It is every man's desire to be great in life but success doesn't come with just desiring something, there is a lot more to be done to make those desires come to reality.
As a young girl with great ambitions, my mom always told more there was more to desire and I confirmed it after writing my final papers at the university.
There are a lot of factors that are attached to fulfilling our desires and until we start practicing them, we should expect nothing. Our desires can be compared to goals or targets, and they can be a long or short term desire.
Our desire can be anything and there are some things we must do that serves us catalyst to help us fulfill those desires. These things are what I am doing and with every breaking of the day, I see myself taking a step closer to every of my desire.
Writing out the things I desire
I said earlier that our desires are like goals we want to achieve in life and sometimes we make irrelevant desires but we won't realise it until they are written them somewhere and we ponder over them thoroughly.
Desiring irrelevant things will only become an hindrance to the important things that we have desired so writing them down first works for me. Screening them will follow so I will be sure I haven't added something silly to the list and I can then move to the next step with my desires.
Planning how to fulfill my desires.
It is normal to have lots of desires but one has to come after the other when fulfilling them.
For instance, it is my desire to become a linguistic. I can't wake up one day and call myself a linguist, I must have been through school and practices to become one.
Working out realistic plans to fulfill our desires comes next. This stage requires us to be honest with ourselves and we must plan with the available resources. We must create strategies that will be flexible enough to help us fulfill our desire.
Putting those plans to work
Working on the plans we have made happens to be the most important part because without work, there is no way forward with our desires. It could be either smart work or hard work, what matters is working to bring our desire to reality. As long as these desires are positive and great, nothing is holding us back from putting everything we have got into it.
Becoming a successful woman in life is my biggest desire and it is the core of all my desires, I want to be an independent person so that I can inspire and help many female children to pursue their positive desires.
To become a successful woman, I learned a skill, I took my education seriously and I am also blogging even though it wasn't part of my plan fulfill my desire, I discovered Hive can help me out and I tapped into the platform goodness.
My most recent achievement is becoming a graduate, it is a big one for my desire and I feel proud of how far I have come.
I know the journey ahead is not easy just like the things I encountered before I reached the point where I am today but my commitment to my desires will keep motivating me to press forward in life.
