There are lots of things I would love to do if I have a whole day to do whatever I want without any restraint such as much money. Many of us think time is what we don't have whereas money is the real challenge.
I believe that time will never be enough because the more we have it, the more we take on tasks and what we can do is manage the little time we have.
My boss planned an event very close to an orphanage home some months ago, it was a huge one because we were in charge of everything and I was assigned a few tasks. We were approaching the merriment section when the woman celebrating her birthday told my boss to dish meal for thirty people with gifts. She gave us the description of the orphanage home and told us to take it there.
I was given the task with one other guy and on getting there, we just delivered and told them where it came from. The celebrant didn't seem like a stranger to them so they sent their regards.
On my way out, some of the kids were looking at me and I couldn't resist saying hello to them. The short interaction I had with them meant a lot to me and immediately added another visit to my to-do list. Throughout my time at the event, I couldn't take my mind off the kids. I was scared to think of not having a parent at this age and wondered what life would have looked like for them growing up in an orphanage home
I made up my mind to visit them someday and of course, I wouldn't be doing that empty-handed. Spending a whole day with them won't be a bad thing, I just want to make them feel loved and happy. I can bake for them, cook for them, play games and even share gift items. These will cost quite a lot of money, I have to do it properly since it's not an everyday thing.
At the moment, I don't have such financial ability but with the prompt empowering me to do anything I want in a day, the money wouldn't be a problem. I have what that day will look like in my head, it would be a memory I will always love to revisit. No one prays to lose their parents and it is not the kids fault to find themselves in such situations.
That day will be one of the special moments in my life, I will cherish the day and I am looking forward to it. If life goes the way I plan, I will come up with a monthly or yearly event for the kids but at the moment, I don't have such ability.
