Dugi otok or literally translated as "Long Island" is a 43 km long island in Croatia. This island is perfect for anyone who enjoys beautiful nature and relaxing at the beaches. There aren't many bars and restaurants on the island. Also, shops are very small and more expensive than on land.
Since hotels are pretty expensive, we decided to spend a few days here road-tripping, sleeping in a car and exploring everything this island has to offer.
The first day we went to the beach called Brbinjšćica Bay. We stayed there throughout the day, swimming and chilling at the beach.
Near this beach, there are a few cool attractions. Dragon's eye is one of them and it's like some kind of a pool made by the sea. You can swim and dive here. It looks very cool from the air, but unfortunately, I don't have a drone to capture a bird's perspective.
There is also a Golubinka cave right next to the Dragon's eye. We jumped to the sea and swam to this cave but we were so afraid to come inside because there was nobody out there and it was very dark and scary. 😅 But anyway, it was a very fun day!

The next day we went to the northern part of the island and found this cool lighthouse.
Right next to this lighthouse there is a nice beach and camp with lots of people.
We took a little detour and walked for a while. We came to this really cool place that looks like a natural bridge.

We came back to that beach next to the lighthouse where we chilled and enjoyed the sunset. The colors were extremely beautiful!
This life is shining more forever in the sun...
We were sleeping in a car near the beach called Veli žal. When we woke up, we immediately went to the beach to fresh ourselves in the water and noticed that lots of people were camping in their tents at the beach. The water was very nice and clear and had this beautiful blue color.
Also, we explored little towns on the island and took some pics while driving.
There is so much else to see on Long Island, like national park Kornati and nature park Telaščica which we didn't see, but we'll definitely visit next time!
