A Colorful On The Court
Caracas is a modern city, characterized by its architectural constructions and modern buildings, which contrast with the houses of the colonial era. But when we go to the west of the city, where a high population density is concentrated, we find another landscape. Houses built of blocks, one on top of the other, with similar characteristics: entrance door, a couple of windows, only the frame and a roof. Most of them have undergone improvements in their infrastructure, carried out by government officials, where they have also given the opportunity to the artists of the neighborhood, to beautify their community.

Un Colorido En La Cancha Caracas es una ciudad moderna, que se caracteriza por sus edificaciones arquitectónicas, y edificios modernos, que contrastan con las casas de la época colonial. Pero cuando nos vamos al oeste de la ciudad, donde se encuentra concentrada una gran densidad de la población, encontramos otro paisaje. Viviendas construidas de bloques, unas encima de otras, con características similares: puerta de entrada, un par de ventanas, solo el marco y una azotea. La mayoría han sufrido mejoras en su infraestructura, realizadas por funcionarios del gobierno, donde le han dado la oportunidad también a los artistas del barrio, para embellecer su comunidad.
And in search of these improvements in their surroundings they build spaces for health, culture, recreation and sports, as we have a generation of young people who are growing passionate about sports, I noticed when passing by this site this great field, which has been recovered for the enjoyment of the kids, now they painted murals that stand out on the walls of the stadium, very well done, to take pictures I had to ask permission, it was empty, because it rained the day before and the grass was covered with water.
Y en busca de esas mejoras en sus alrededores construyen espacios para la salud, la cultura, recreación y deporte, como tenemos una generación de jóvenes que vienen creciendo apasionados del deporte, he notado al pasar por este sitio este gran campo, que ha sido recuperado para el disfrute de los chicos, ahora le pintaron murales que se destacan en las paredes del estadio, muy bien realizados, para tomarle las fotos tuve que pedir permiso, estaba vacío, ya que llovió el día anterior y la grama estaba enchumbada de agua.
I had the great opportunity to take the images, I stopped to observe them, the painting shows a player with the number 10, the mural is painted in tribute to some players who stand out in a list located in a part of the field, the murals have no signature, they are exhibited in the soccer field “Damelys Bauza”, located in the parish of 23 de Enero, Sierra Maestra sector, in the western part of the city of Caracas. A popular area with people who want to achieve their dreams, as there are many talents. I want to tell you that they are two different murals, but they are equidistant one from the other and the capture of the two is not going to be very good, for another opportunity I will show you the other one.
Tuve la gran oportunidad de tomar las imágenes, me detuve a observarlos, la pintura muestra a un jugador con el número 10, el mural este pintado en homenaje, a algunos jugadores que se destacan en una lista ubicada en una parte de la cancha, los murales no tienen firma, se exhiben en la cancha de futbol “Damelys Bauza”, ubicada en la parroquia 23 de Enero, sector Sierra Maestra, en la parte oeste de la ciudad de Caracas. Una zona popular con gente que quiere lograr sus sueños, ya que existen muchos talentos. Quiero decirles que son dos murales diferentes, pero están equidistante uno del otro y la captura de los dos no va a resultar muy buena, para otra oportunidad les muestro el otro.
It is an unstoppable city with murals. This is a sample of what the artist wants to communicate: colors, games and a lot of activity, so that there are minds, in a healthy body, in the Caracas neighborhood.
Es una ciudad indetenible con los murales. Esta es una muestra de lo que quiere comunicar el artista: colores, juego y mucha actividad, para que existan mentes, en cuerpo sano, en la barriada caraqueña.
