Un Juego Amistoso

Un caluroso saludo amigos de DYHbud, comunidad que día a día nos motiva con sus propuestas. Esta vez en mi participación les traigo una cancha de basquetbol, un deporte que es muy conocido y se practica en casi todo el mundo. Esta propuesta que les traigo es porque el concurso hace referencia al Día Internacional del Deporte para el Desarrollo y la Paz. Como es bien sabido, el deporte ayuda al fortalecimiento físico de cualquier persona, nos ayuda a perder peso, a tener una salud física y mental. Al estar activo, prevenimos muchas enfermedades. Lo que necesitamos, es ejercitar nuestro cuerpo diariamente.

In young people it is a great tool to advance in their personal lives, playing sports helps them to integrate into society, they learn to have discipline, to communicate, to live together, and to work as a team, this allows them to make an effort and concentrate, to have skills that lead them to develop in some discipline to compete in a healthy way and achieve their goals. But above all it allows them to have a healthy social life.

En los jóvenes es una gran herramienta para avanzar en su vida personal, hacer deporte los ayuda a integrarse en la sociedad, aprenden a tener disciplina, a comunicarse, a convivir, y a trabajar en equipo, esto le permite esforzarse y concentrarse, tener habilidades que lo lleven a desarrollarse en alguna disciplina para competir de una manera sana y alcanzar sus metas. Pero sobre todo les permite una vida social saludable.

I had many ideas in mind to develop this topic with some discipline, because I like sports and I love to see all the variety of sports that exist. As I live in a very populous sector, and in it sports activities are promoted a lot, each community has many courts, so that young people have the opportunity to recreate in their free time. So I wanted to create a miniature basketball court, which was recently recovered by the Mayor's Office of Caracas. There are many courts in this place. Among them are multiple courts, which has the particularity that it can be used to play basketball, but it can also be used for volleyball.

Tenía en mente muchas ideas para desarrollar este tema con alguna disciplina, porque me gusta el deporte y me encanta ver toda la variedad deportiva que existen. Como vivo en un sector muy populoso, y en él se promocionan mucho las actividades deportivas, cada comunidad cuenta con muchas canchas, para que los jóvenes tengan la oportunidad de recrearse en sus momentos libres. Entonces quise crear en miniatura una cancha de basquetbol, que recién fue recuperada por la Alcaldía de Caracas. En este lugar hay muchas canchas. Entre esas destacan canchas múltiples, que tiene la particularidad de que se puede utilizar para jugar basquetbol, pero también se puede utilizar para voleibol.

Aquí les traigo mi propuesta: utilicé para ello material reciclado, cartón en su mayoría y algunos otros materiales de desecho. De seguida les dicto los materiales.

Procedure:

The court I made was a real life model, it is not made to scale because I have it in sight from where I live. What I did was to replicate it, observing every detail, I leave you the step by step.

Procedimiento:

La cancha que realicé fue un modelo de la vida real, no está hecha a escala porque la tengo a la vista desde donde yo vivo. Lo que hice fue replicarla, observando cada detalle, les dejo el paso a paso.

First: we take a piece of cardboard and cut it into the shape of the green painted part (see model). Then we proceed to glue it on the blue cardboard.

Primero: tomamos una cartulina y cortamos dándole forma a la parte pintada de verde. (ver modelo). Luego procedemos a pegarla en la cartulina azul.

With the Bond paper, we draw white strips and cut them out to place them in the blue box. In the inside box we place the strips, but we paint them yellow (see model).

Con el papel Bond, dibujamos tiras blancas y recortamos para colocarlas en el recuadro azul. En el cuadro de adentro colocamos las tiras, pero las pintamos de amarillo (ver modelo).

With a compass we draw the circles on the paper, then we cut out the arches, large and small.

Con un compás dibujamos los círculos sobre el papel, luego recortamos de manera de sacar los arcos, grandes y pequeños.

To make the mesh, we use the plastic pot and we place plastic tape on the part of the spout of the bottle, we take the wick and cut several small strips, all of the same size, to which we spread with glue and we are sticking it to the spout of the bottle obliquely, (see image), when dry we place the wick in the opposite way, so that the mesh is left.

Para realizar la malla, utilizamos el pote plástico y le colocamos cinta plástica en la parte del pico de la botella, tomamos el pabilo y cortamos varias tiras pequeñas. todas del mismo tamaño, a lo que untamos con pega y lo vamos pegando al pico de la botella de forma oblicua, (ver imagen), cuando se sequen le colocamos el pabilo de manera contraria, de forma que quede la malla.

We finish by putting a ring-shaped top. And we wait for it to dry well, and then remove it.

Terminamos pasándole en la parte de arriba un remate en forma de aro. Y esperamos que seque bien, para después desprenderlo.

We take the wire and we chop it in equal parts and we cover it with paper with the help of the glue. And we give it shape.

Tomamos el alambre y lo picamos en partes iguales y lo forramos de papel con la ayuda de la pega. Y le damos forma.

We take cardboard and cut two squares to form the board, paint it and make a smaller square. We proceed to mount the mesh.

Tomamos cartón y picamos dos recuadros para conformar el tablero, lo pintamos y le hacemos un recuadro más pequeño. Procedemos a montarle la malla.

Then we glue the wire-covered parallels on each side of the box. And we place the mesh.

Luego pegamos los parales forrados de alambre a cada lado del recuadro. Y le colocamos la malla.

I improvised with firemen dolls. As players I made their uniforms, see pictures. For the benches, I used two strips of cardboard and painted them brown.

Improvisé con muñequitos bomberos. Como jugadores les hice su uniforme, ver imágenes. En los bancos, utilice dos tiras de cartulina y pinte de marrón.

Also, improvise the clock, use cardboard and paper. As many of us know, the game of basketball consists of a competition between two teams made up of five players who must shoot the ball and the team that scores the most points in a given time wins. In this contest, a referee has the responsibility to mediate so that the rules are respected, to call the fouls with a whistle, to penalize any player who has committed such a foul.

También, improvise el reloj, utilice cartón y papel. Como muchos sabemos, el juego de basquetbol consiste en la competencia de dos equipos conformados por cinco jugadores que deben encestar el balón y el que haga marque más puntos en un tiempo determinado es el que gana. En esta contienda, un árbitro tiene la responsabilidad de mediar para que se respeten las normas, cantar las faltas con un silbato, para penalizar a cualquier jugador que haya cometido dicha falta.

In this way, I am participating in the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace contest.

De esta forma participo al concurso del Día Internacional del Deporte para el Desarrollo y la Paz.
