Yeah, classically a lot of people would get conned into paying for upvotes, those upvotes would eventually pay out a little bit less than their estimates, making people lose money.

The program was originally launched to add value to the chain without charging people any money, if you're not paying anything, it removes a lot of the risk factor of trying to accelerate your accounts growth.
