Hello everyone, how are your weekend?
I just had a wonderful holiday with new friends last weekend before going home to my family. We planned 2 days in advance, from choosing the location to preparing the necessary items, food, tents. Because of the rainy weather forecast for the weekend, we went a day earlier. This trip had many friends that I had not met before, so I was quite nervous. However, everyone's enthusiasm and friendliness made me feel very comfortable on this trip. So let me show you some our activities in this trip.
In that morning, we prepared food and tools at a location, until 2pm, we gathered together and then departed for the campsite. It takes about 30 minutes by motorbike from our place to the camping site. Arriving, we parked the bikes on the mountain, then carried our belongings and climbed into the sea. We rested a bit and then started setting up our tents before dark, we include 10 people so using 2 tents, one small and one large.
After about 10 minutes, we finished setting up the tent and started grilling. My best friend and I peeled fruit and put it in a barrel to make fruit wine. We bought fresh fruit in advance at the market, washed it and putted it in big bins. Up to the campsite, we just started cutting them up and putting them in the bin, and below is the result after 20 minutes of us peeling the fruit.
After peeling all the fruit, I started grilling meat with my friends. He prepared the fire while I peeled the fruit, so now the fire has started to burn enough to grill meat. Because there was a lot of meat, it took us almost 2 hours to cook it all.
While I was grilling, some of my friends sat and sang, I really admire their talent because they can not only play the guitar well but also sing really well.
The thing that impressed me the most about this camping trip was that after eating, when we were singing together, it suddenly rained heavily. We didn't have time to react, just packed everything into the tent. The rain lasted about 15 minutes but was enough to wet all of our clothes and the tents. Since the tent was wet, we decided to stay up until morning. During that time, we started playing cards, whoever lost would be painted with charcoal. And the picture below demonstrates how fun the game is.
We sat together to sing and talk until dawn. At 5 a.m., we started a fire, boiled water to make breakfast. We ate instant noodles and drank coffee before removing the tent.
